Great piece Richard. Loved in the insights from the Falklands Conflict; whether we're talking about survivability and damage control or any other topic, lessons are much easier to absorb when they're rooted in real-world experience!
That was exactly what I hoped the Falklands element would bring. Technology moves on remarkably quickly, but people, fatigue, damage and the need to improvise when the plan falls apart are rather more enduring. There are still lessons from 1982 worth carrying into the Hybrid Navy.
